Invisalign In Sacramento

While traditional braces have been a staple of dental treatment for decades, many people today would agree that they are no longer the most popular and effective option available. Fortunately, advancements in dental technology have provided alternative options that offer effective teeth straightening with less visibility and discomfort. At Natomas Crossing Dental Care, you can finally achieve the smile of your dreams with Invisalign in Sacramento.

What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a treatment that utilizes a series of clear plastic dental aligners to gradually shift your teeth into optimal position. Invisalign aligners are removable, almost completely invisible and custom fitted to your unique smile.

Similar to ClearCorrect aligners, Invisalign is a cosmetic dental treatment that improves the appearance of your smile. When compared to traditional braces and other types of orthodontic treatment, there are numerous advantages that make Invisalign a superior teeth straightening method, including:

  • No bulky metal brackets or wires
  • Less visits to the dentist office
  • A faster and more effective treatment
  • Much more comfortable to wear
  • Easier to clean and maintain
  • Nearly impossible to notice

Am I a Candidate for Invisalign?

Invisalign is used to correct a variety of issues including gaps in your teeth, overcrowded teeth and even mild overbites/underbites or malocclusion. While it is a great solution for many common dental problems, it’s not a perfect option for everyone. If more complex dental issues need addressed first, your dentist may recommend another treatment option before moving forward with invisible aligners. If you’re wondering if Invisalign is right for you, schedule an appointment. Your dentist is the only one who can determine if Invisalign is right for you!

How Does It Work?

Although every set of teeth are unique and will require a custom treatment plan, the process follows these basic steps:

  1. Dr. Harris will first take impressions to custom fit your trays to your bite.
  2. Once your aligners have been made, you will return to pick up the first few sets and ensure that your invisible teeth aligners fit properly.
  3. As you replace each set of teeth straightening aligners with the next in the series, your teeth gradually shift to the next stage in your treatment.
  4. You’ll visit your dentist about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. On average, treatment times vary between 10-18 months.
  5. Once you’ve finished the treatment, you will receive a nighttime retainer to maintain your brand new smile.

How Much Does Invisalign Cost?

The cost of Invisalign treatment depends on various factors, such as the number of trays your treatment will require and the length of the treatment. With so many variables, there’s no accurate cost that we can provide until our team learns more about your situation. Here at Natomas Crossing Dental Care, we know how expensive dental care can be, and we will work with you to strategize a payment plan that works best for you!
